All Trent University Alumni Association benefits and many staff resources are extended to TUARP members. For access, members will need a silver TUAA validation sticker to be applied to their Trent University Staff card, or a valid myTrent account, depending on the service. To obtain a silver validation sticker or for assistance with your myTrent account, contact the Alumni Engagement & Services office by phone, 705-748-1573 or toll free 1-800-267-5774, or email alumni@trentu.ca.

TUARP is affiliated with the College and University Retiree Association of Retired People (CURAC). Their webpage contains useful information on ongoing issues and includes newsletters and conference reports.

Many digital resources available to Trent University employees are also available to retirees including lifelong access to myTrent email and account monitoring. For a complete list of services, visit the IT Services page, select ‘Advanced Search’ and filter by retiree eligibility.

To update your contact information, subscribe to Trent Magazine and receive other Alumni and University updates, TUARP members are welcome to set their communication preferences and update their profile.

TUARP is happy to provide its members with updates about the University Pension Plan Ontario (UPP). The UPP 2021 Annual Report provides a snapshot of UPP’s first six operating months from July 1 to December 31, 2021, as well as key financial statements and other important disclosures. The Climate Action Plan is the UPP’s formal commitment and pathway for achieving a net-zero greenhouse gas emissions portfolio by 2040 or sooner.
