Trent Talks: High School Edition
Trent Talks is a series of talks in local secondary schools to celebrate the community partnerships that have allowed Trent to grow into the dynamic institution it is proud to be today. These talks are a way for Trent University to give back to our community by sharing its passion for research, teaching, and learning.
Trent faculty, graduate students and staff have volunteered to partner with classroom teachers to engage with students to talk about their research in the classroom. The talks will be roughly 45-60 minutes in length and are geared towards specific age levels and disciplines. We will help pair teachers with speakers based on a mutually agreed-upon theme that ties to the curriculum. Although, teachers are also always welcome to choose one of the talks or professors according to the suitability for their class.
