Trent Talks

Trent Talks – a weekly interactive video series offering timely, reliable and thought-provoking information about COVID-19, as well as other topics related to our rapidly changing world. Each episode will challenge the way we think, offering captivating insights from faculty and alumni experts. These curated talks will be presented in two integrated video formats: a moderated Q&A, hosted by Trent chancellor, Dr. Stephen Stohn ’66, featuring viewer-submitted questions; as well as a 10-minute mini-lecture by a stand-alone faculty expert.

New videos will be posted every second Wednesday at noon.

To ensure that Trent Talks is meeting the needs of the Trent family and our host communities, we’re encouraging viewers to submit questions for each week’s program. Post online using #TrentTalks or submit online anonymously.

Our Trent Talks episode next week will look at the Future of Canada. I’ll be joined by director of the Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies, Professor David Newhouse, and Trent School for the Study of Canada professor, Dr. Whitney Lackenbauer. Together, we’ll discuss your questions about what tomorrow looks like in this country, through different lenses and from different perspectives.
