The latest edition of TRENT Magazine is currently making its way to mailboxes (and email boxes) across the country and around the world. This edition features alumni elders Doug Williams ’69, Harvey McCue ’66, Shirley Williams ’79, and younger alumnus Jarret Leaman ’05 discussing the continued impact of residential schools on Indigenous communities, as well as the current state of the Truth and Reconciliation process. We are honoured to present their thoughts, words, and memories.
Other articles cover:
• a new course by alumni David ’66 and Sarah Patterson ’92 that places climate change within a framework of other social, political and economic systems and issues
• a video series from Trent Centre for Aging & Society researchers on contextualizing death as a natural part of life
• a look at the first 50 years of Trent’s School for the Study of Canada
• a thrilling excerpt from Find You First, the latest novel from alumnus and bestselling author Linwood Barclay '73
• and much more!
