International Nurses Day Interview with Front Line Alumni

Video interview and audio podcast with Nursing Alumni, plus a special message from the Dean of the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing

To help celebrate International Nurses Week, the Trent Voices podcast sat down to talk to Nursing graduates Natalie Beavis and Scott Wight for a special video podcast exploring their experiences over the past two months. We're also joined by Dr. Kirsten Woodend, Dean of the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing, who has a special National Nurse's Week message for nurses around the world.

For an audio version of this podcast, please visit: https://trenttalks.podbean.com/e/trent-voices-nursing-alumni-during-the-covid-19-crisis/. In two weeks time, we will be returning with a second special episode featuring graduates from the Trent University School of Education, along with the Dean of the School, Dr. Cathy Bruce.

Do you know an alumnus who is working, volunteering, or otherwise lending time and energy to improve conditions in their community? A volunteer that is putting others’ needs first? A parent who is a hero to their family? An educator who is going above and beyond? A front-line worker in the medical profession? A musician doing benefits? A caring business leader?

We want to hear from you!

Please email us at alumnimedia@trentu.ca with your stories and photos. We will be sharing these stories on our social media channels as well as right here, on the Trent alumni webpage.
