Speaking of updates, after a bit of a hiatus the new streamlined Trent Voices podcast has released a few new episodes. In order to meet listener demand and trends in digital media consumption, we’ve moved from longform, far-reaching interviews to shorter, single subject ones. In a fortunate bit of timing the first of these interviews features alumnus, Trent Chancellor and producer of television’s iconic Degrassi franchise Stephen Stohn '66, talking about bringing his book Whatever It Takes: Life Lessons from Degrassi and Elsewhere in the World of Music and Television to digital audio, partially in order to satisfy the bite-sized leisure time of his audience.  Also featured is Dr. Tim Cook on his latest book Lifesavers and Body Snatchers: Medical Care and the Struggle for Survival in the Great War, and a visit with internationally renowned Indigenous playwright, novelist, musician, songwriter, and member of the Order of Canada, Tomson Highway as he sat at a grand piano during the soundcheck for his W.L. Morton Lecture presentation.
