The Trent University Alumni Association and Trent University invites students, alumni, staff, faculty and the members of the Peterborough and Durham communities to celebrate Trent Day

On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, join as we mark the 1963 founding of Trent University, encourage philanthropic support for student needs, reinforce the University’s founding value of service to the community, and raise Trent spirit.

A graphic of a hand outstretched with a heart in itTrent Day Support Trent Family, we challenge you to help meet our goal of signing up 50 new monthly donors this Trent Day. Support students in a powerful, easy, and affordable way by becoming a monthly donor - whether that's to the Trent Fund, which supports students with new and emerging needs such as groceries, emergency housing, and mental health initiatives, or another area that you choose. Will you help us reach our goal? You will receive a free Trent Fund Club canvas book bag if you sign up as a monthly donor to the Trent Fund by April 4, with a minimum $15 monthly pledge, or if you upgrade your monthly giving amount by $10 or more.

Graphic of 3 handsTrent Day Service  As part of Trent Day celebrations, alumni and community members will come together in a unified display of service by volunteering with organizations in their area. Be sure to sign-up before 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23 for one of the valuable volunteer opportunities on offer or register a volunteer activity that is meaningful to you.

Support the Trent Day Food Drive On Tuesday, April 4, bring your non-perishable items to donation booths stationed on the Symons and Durham campuses between 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Look for the Trent Day tent across from the Bata parking lot on Symons Campus, and outside of the new residence building on the Durham GTA campus. 

Can't make it to a booth on Trent Day? Bring your non-perishable items to the closest College Office before 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, and your donations will be added to the Trent Day Food Drive! All donations will support Kawartha Food Share in Peterborough and Feed the Need Durham in Oshawa.
