The Trent Fund Club – The Most Powerful Way to Support Students

Students walking outside Durham campus building

The Trent Fund Club is an extraordinary way to support students in this unpredictable world. Monthly gifts to this flexible fund allow students to get support when they need it and where they need it. As donations are not restricted, the funds may be used for unpredictable needs such as emergency housing, pandemic relief or assistance for Ukrainian students during the conflict.

Gifts to the Trent Fund directly impact today’s students with their most pressing needs whether it’s employment, health & wellness, on-campus safety, financial aid, experiential learning or mentoring.

“Textbooks and lectures are key to learning but students get a leg up in the real world when they gain hands-on experience and professional connections through co-op placements. The Trent Fund supports these placements and truly provides our students with an outstanding Trent experience."
- Kevin Whitmore, Director of Careerspace

"Powerful hands-on learning opportunities happen every day in the University Green Network, Trent's diverse networks of nature areas and green spaces, which is our largest student lab. Thanks to the Trent Fund, we have been able to support projects such as wetland monitoring, helping to ensure healthy wildlife populations and ecosystems so tomorrow's environmental leaders can continue to benefit from this unique experiential learning."
- Jennifer Clinesmith, Director of Campus Planning and Development
