Alexandra Stewart, First-year Law & Arts student Majoring in History

Alexandra Stweart for Student Impact storiesAlexandra Stewart is a first-year undergraduate pursuing a dual degree in the Law and Arts program with a major in history. As the daughter of Trent Alumni from the graduating class of 1983, Alexandra shares her mother’s lifelong passion for history and the pursuit of higher education. This year, Alexandra is a recipient of Trent’s History Award which is presented to accomplished students wishing to further their knowledge in both Canadian and world history.

“My Mom graduated with an undergraduate degree in history from Trent University and always loved telling me about history growing up.”

Alexandra attended a specialized arts secondary school to pursue her passion of classical vocal music. Leaving high school with an academic average of over 90%, Alexandra is eager to apply the same drive and dedication to her studies at Trent University as she looks ahead in her academic career with optimism.

“I know I'll continue enjoying learning in University.”

Given the joy Alexandra finds in learning and the way in which she uses her curiosity to overcome any challenge, Alexandra is sure to find success at Trent and beyond!
