Trent University is pleased to participate in Giving Tuesday – the world’s largest generosity movement widely considered opening day of the holiday season of giving – to invest in lasting and meaningful change for student wellbeing and success.  

Your generous support will play a significant role in supporting Trent students and nourishing the personal, purposeful and transformative educational experience that sets Trent apart and helps students accomplish their dreams.

Your gift supports students such as Rachel McGee, a single mother who has faced many struggles on her path to becoming a biochemist. Rachel says she wouldn’t be able to attend the University were it not for donor-funded bursaries that help her pay rent and buy groceries.  

“Despite all of my struggles, bursaries have allowed me to continue my studies,” she says. “I’m working towards creating a better future for my son and pursuing my dreams of becoming a health researcher.”

A gift to the Trent Fund will make an immediate impact by providing students with such things as campus employment experience, financial assistance, hands-on learning opportunities, mentoring, on-campus safety, and health and wellness support.
