Made in the North - Arctic Panel Presentation

Free to Trent University Alumni & their guest, this exciting panel presented by the Trent University School for the Study of Canada, is bringing bringing together leading figures in Arctic Education to present the new and innovative ways that their organizations are supporting education policies that empower Northern youth and communities.

50th Anniversary of the Bata Library Opening

Alumni and friends are invited to join an informal celebration from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Friday, September 6th to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Bata Library

The event will include a few remarks, cake/tea/coffee, and self-guided tours. If you have not been back to the Bata Library since it re-opened in September 2018 this is an event you will want to attend. The renovated library, with improved function and work spaces for students, a beautiful living wall, all the while preserving the important historical aspects is truly spectacular.

The Great Race

Great Race is still a big part of the Trent tradition.
Starting this year, a new tradition will be the involvement of alumni.

The Great Race will begin with a Welcome Ceremony with various speakers. Alumni are invited to come out and spectate and if willing, to be a part of the Welcome Ceremony. This is a great opportunity for incoming students to interact with Trent graduates. The event is relay-race style between each college, with lots of College pride, and alumni will be an integral part of this ongoing tradition at Trent.

Sculpture in the OC Garden and Presentation of Distinguished Alumni Award

Alumni are encouraged to save the afternoon on September 29th for an exciting two part event to include the unveiling of a new sculpture, donated by artist Claude Millette in the OC garden.

That event will be followed by the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Award to Trent University alumnus, and sculptor, David James '68.

- 49th Rowing Regatta (as of 2019 is expanded to 2 days of racing), with historical rowing display in the Trent Student Centre Event Space, 1st floor)

Trent Men's 1969 Rugby Team 50th Anniversary Reunion

Calling all members of the Men's Rugby 1969 team. 
Plan to bring your family and return to Peterborough for the 50th Anniversary of your team.

Saturday October 5th Reunion Events:

11:00am - 12 noon: Trent Rugby alumni game, East Bank Sports Field at Trent University
3:30 - 5:30 pm: Coffee House Reception for the team and family members. Athletic Centre Fitness Studio 2. Co-hosted by Coach P.S.B. Wilson and Trent Rugby Booster Club President Caleb Smith '93. Other special guests who are attending include team co-captains, Gary Wolff '67 and Ron Reid '66, as well as Co-Coach, Tony Sherman '69.
5:45 pm: Varsity Game vs. U of T. The 1969 team will be honoured at half-time.
8:00 pm Post Game Reunion Reception:
Hosted by P.S.B. Wilson, the celebration continues for the team and family at the Ashburnham Ale House, located at 128 Hunter Street East, in the private event room.

10 Year Reunion for the Class of '15

This is the start of an exciting new tradition for Trent alumni.

Each year during Homecoming, a special reunion event will take place for those alumni who started 10 years earlier. The first event will take place in 2025 for those Trent alumni who started in 2015. At Trent University your alumni year is your start year at Trent.
