You're invited! Trent's annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Market Hall in downtown Peterborough.
3MT presents Masters and Ph.D. students with the ultimate challenge: to explain their complex and highly specialized research and ideas to a general audience in just three minutes, using only one visual slide.
Join us for an evening of exciting entertainment as we witness research presentations from 19 graduate students from nine different Trent graduate programs. There are many prizes to be won! As an audience member, you will be able to vote for your favourite presentation as part of the Audience Choice Award.
This event is presented by Traill College and Academic Skills and generously sponsored by Catharine Parr Traill College, the School of Graduate Studies, the Trent Graduate Student Association, and Trent’s Office of Research and Innovation.
