Alumni House is the campus home of the Trent University Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Affairs. This positive environment for staff, alumni and visitors also provides a permanent home for the Alumni Association’s Hall of Fame and heritage collections. It also provides space to display art donated by alumni and friends, and other select pieces of Trent’s fine art collection.
The Alumni House offers four event spaces suitable for meetings, receptions and catered events. The dining room, living room, the John E. Leishman Courtyard and the Tony Storey Courtyard are available for use to Trent University Departments or Groups at no charge. Should your event require set-up, staffing or additional services, fees will apply. For external clients or organizations, service fees will apply based on event details. Please allow a minimum of one week’s notice to ensure your event
booking. Indoor capacity is limited to 35 people. Chartwells and The Seasoned Spoon are the food providers at Alumni House.
Booking Alumni House
Internal groups should complete/submit a Conference Services Booking Request Form to Conference Services- you may access the form at: MyTrent/Services/Conferences
External groups ( alumni, community, visitors) should contact Conference Services directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Alumni House Guest Room
Our guest room is located on the second level of Alumni House, Champlain College. We rent to alumni and special friends of the university. The guest room has a queen bed, dresser, small fridge and microwave, three piece ensuite (personal care items not provided), air conditioning - it is suitable for two adults.
Overnight guests may not have exclusive use of the first floor facilities at Alumni House. The living room and dining room may be occupied with pre booked events during the day and evening, and the offices of Alumni Affairs are also located on the first floor.
