Tom Jackson kickstarts the holiday season with grace, style, and quirky festivity that many have enjoyed for decades. Expect an evening of original music, sing-along tunes, and signature Christmas music from this master storyteller. Stories, Songs and Santa Causes also features BC Country Music Association Hall-of-Fame producer, Tom McKillip; and award-winning producer/multi-instrumentalist, John MacArthur Ellis. Tom, Tom and John can’t promise "no Dad jokes", but the performance will bring some much-welcome levity and humanity with a date-night - or family-day - vibe!
Proceeds and thoughtful donations from this event will go to the Trent Fund in support of cultural services offered by the First Peoples House of Learning (FPHL) at Trent University for a diverse community of Indigenous learners (First Nations, Status/Non-Status, Metis, and Inuit). FPHL will direct assistance to students in financial need, to purchase materials needed for cultural programming, to support experiential learning opportunities such as land-based initiatives, and to facilitate leadership development opportunities for students.
Tickets are free for Trent University students (with no registration required), with a portion of the theatre seats reserved for walk-in student seating.
