Bata Library

Intellectual and Academic Heart

Trent University’s Bata Library is a centre of exploration and discovery. The renewal plan will ensure it remains so for future generations. The Bata Library of the future will be less a space for storing books and quiet reading, and more a space for innovation, collaboration and inspiration. The Library will transform to become a modern Learning Hub, with quiet, individual study pods but also with project rooms for collaborative work. There could be a discovery centre for learning and research, technology hubs to explore digital collections, and dedicated space for faculty and graduate students. The next step in this multi-million dollar project is a Space Renewal Plan.
