Bailey Jantzi, third-year Business Administration student
“I could not have managed my education, extra-curricular activities, and intramural sports without the incredible student services and financial aid made possible by the support of Trent’s generous donors.”
In his “Wednesday Words of Wisdom,” Bailey Jantzi shares messages of positivity, kindness, mindset, and motivation on Instagram. Encouraging others in achieving their goals has been key to Mr. Jantzi’s collegiate experience at Trent.
As part of the Champlain College community, Mr. Jantzi takes the college’s motto to heart: “Continuer mes découvertes,” meaning “To continue my discoveries.”
At Bontemps, Trent’s annual winter carnival where Champlain College’s student clubs and university organizations gather together, Mr. Jantzi has discovered a passion for everything from its winter activities to the broomball tournament. In fact, Mr. Jantzi and his broomball team “The Angry Lumberjacks” (a Champlain College legacy team for more than 50 years) finished in second during the carnival.
“Coming in second is a very proud moment for any Champlainer!” says Mr. Jantzi. “This year has been filled with challenges that I’m trying my best to face, with positivity and a little fun along the way.”
Gifts made possible by generous donors helps to alleviate students’ financial burden and enable intramural college activities, which play a key role in the Trent experience.
